The Porsche Taycan EV has a forward-thinking design that is undoubtedly one among the most original on the marketplace. Its bold design is complemented by a comfortable and engaging cabin, while delivering an electric vehicle experience that rivals those of Tesla's Model S.
This all-electric SUV makes a great choice for people who want an EV with exceptional driving dynamics and speed. However, the range is not as good as that of some of its competition. The Taycan does, however, offer super-fast charging capability, which can help overcome the mediocre range.
It's a compact, stylish and swift EV. It's also very enjoyable to drive. The Taycan isn't as comfortable as some of its competitors, but it's very quiet on the road, which makes it ideal for long drives.
The Taycan's interior features an extensive array of screens, which control everything from the instrument panel and the infotainment systems. There are two touchscreens within the center console: one 8.4-inch screen in front and another touch-sensitive display facing the driver's chair.

Specs and Features
While the Taycan has a very basic equipment list, it includes everything from satellite navigation and smartphone mirroring. Upgrades to the Bose 14-speaker audio system are also possible. Those upgrades cost $2840.
Fashionable and authentic
The Porsche Taycan is designed in a way that resembles other Porsche models. It has a unique, wind-cheating design which makes it stand out from other cars on the road. This will make it more attractive to passersby who see it outside.
It's also very safe which is important for anyone considering buying an electric SUV. Euro NCAP gives the Taycan a 5-star safety rating. However, ANCAP isn't able to ratify that score.
The Taycan is an excellent choice if you are looking for a luxury electric vehicle that's affordable. Although the Taycan is relatively new in this segment of battery-powered performance cars, it has quickly established itself as a leader.
It was able out-accelerate Tesla Model S during our tests. However, its asking price could be more than twice that.

Torque and power
The dual-motor setup of the engine produces a staggering 570 horsepower. This is enough to propel it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds to a top speed at 250km/h. While it's more power than the 370hp offered elsewhere, it's still not enough to match the 520hp of the Nissan EQS or the Tesla Model S's 550hp.
That said, it's not a ludicrous figure to behold in terms of acceleration, and it's a big deal for Porsche, which is betting its reputation on its EV line.
Comfortable and Reliable
The Taycan seats provide spirited driving with firm but not overwhelming support. They are also well padded and offer excellent lateral support. This is especially useful for long trips in the back.
Its unique replete screen environment is part of the Taycan’s appeal as well as its class-leading brakes and steering. It feels sporty and sports car-like thanks to these features. Add to that its amazing handling and superb agility, the Taycan offers the perfect blend of performance as well as comfort that Porsche has sought so many times with their internal engine vehicles.
