Nokia 3.2 Review

product testing

Despite being a budget phone, the nokia 3.2 is a good buy thanks to its stock Android experience and a large display. It has a huge battery, and many features that aren't available on lower-end smartphones.

smartphone build quality

A device's build is one of its key features. The Nokia 3.2 is a sturdy and well-made phone with a polycarbonate unibody that looks sturdy enough to take a few knocks. However, we found that the glossy rear panel catches scratches easily and we recommend you use a case to protect it.

Software and software updates

Nokia 3.2 ships with Android Pie 9.0 out-of-the box, and as part of Android One's programme, it promises to receive timely updates. This is an excellent feature because not many phones in this price range come with OS updates guaranteed for two or three years.

Digital Wellbeing, a key feature of a budget phone, is included in the Google suite. The phone has both an on-screen and physical shortcut to Google Assistant.

Tests and reviews of cameras

The nokia 3 is equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera that has a fixed-focus and an aperture of F/2.4. This is standard for mid-range smartphones. It takes decent photos with minimal distortion.

In our low-light tests, we saw a bit of noise in the image and a lot of grainy texture. It was a shame, because we had expected better results from the camera in this price range.

Audio Testing and Reviews

The 3.2's single side-firing loudspeaker is quite good for its size, but it doesn't produce much bass. The sound quality of the 3.2 is similar to other budget smartphones within this price range. If you are an audiophile you may want to invest in some good earphones.

Screen and display

The 6.26-inch HD+ display on the nokia 3.2 has an 80% screen-to-body ratio and a waterdrop notch at the top. The resolution is 1520x720 in a 19:9 aspect ratio, which is on par with the latest competition.

Battery life

The nokia 3 has a quad-core Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 429 and Adreno504 graphics. There are two versions: 2GB ram + 16GB storage space and 3GB ram + 32GB. An external microSD card can expand the RAM and internal storage up to 400GB.

benefits of product reviews

Performance and speed

The nokia 3.2's performance is underwhelming, especially when it comes to multitasking and gaming. It is slow to load applications and has a stuttering animation. Even though it was designed to give a stock Android feel, the overall experience is sluggish.

Comparing design and screen

The front of nokia's 3.2 is dominated with its waterdrop notch, which gives the phone a very appealing look. The notch of the nokia 3 is much less noticeable and more natural.
