2020 Kia Rio Review

reviews of employees

The 2020 Kia Rio is an excellent choice if you are looking for a small car to get you from A to B quickly and without spending a lot, or a vehicle that provides great value. It's a subcompact hatchback that's built to last and that doesn't try to hide its low price tag.

The Kia Rio is affordable, but it has many features that will please everyone. It's well-designed and comfortable to drive.

The dashboard is simple, but elegant and well-organized for ease of use. The infotainment screens are located near the top and controls for stereo and air conditioning as well as a range of other features are placed logically.

There is plenty of space in the front seat and ample headroom for those over six feet. There isn't much legroom in the rear seats, and there's not enough trunk space.

You have ample storage with large door bins, cupholders, and a usefully-sized glovesbox. A few models also have a cubbyhole under the center armrest.

The Rio has seen some improvements by Kia for 2020. It now includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, along with a new engine and transmission, as well standard safety equipment.

This year's model combines a new 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable automatic transmission that makes it more fuel efficient and much quieter than the old 130-hp 1.6-liter powertrain. According to the EPA, it should get 33 mpg within cities and 41 highway.

The Rio engine is a superb choice. It is extremely fuel-efficient and offers plenty of performance. The engine is available in LX and S trim levels. Both have an 8.0-inch touchscreen, and support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Rio's strong point is its similarity to a European sedan in appearance. This makes it easy to fit in suburban driveways. It also isn't as stubby in the rear, making it easier to squeak into parking spaces and load up the cargo area.

The exterior styling is more conservative that previous models but it is still very attractive. It also has a distinctive look that sets it apart among subcompact cars. The front features a chrome-tiger nose, which can be customized to suit different models. You also have the option of changing the body color.

Also, a new GT Line is available. It features a unique grille as well as 17-inch alloy wheels. The GT Line adds black and gray seats and a sportier steering column with a red stitch.

Although the Rio doesn't have the most impressive features, it is a well-rounded vehicle with a lot to offer. The warranty coverage Kia offers is also excellent. The warranty covers five years, or 60,000 miles, of bumper-to-bumper coverage. There is also 10 years or 100,000 miles powertrain coverage.
