Nokia 3.2 Review

product reviews amazon

Despite its budget price, the Nokia 3.2 is an excellent buy due to its large screen and stock Android. It has a huge battery, and many features that aren't available on lower-end smartphones.

Smartphone build quality

One of the most important features for a device is its build. The Nokia 3.2 comes with a strong and durable polycarbonate unit that is designed to withstand a lot of abuse. The glossy rear panel was easy to scratch, so we recommend that you use a case.

Updates and upgrades to software

Nokia 3.2 runs on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box with the promise of regular updates on a timely basis as part of the Android One programme. This is a very welcome feature, as few devices in this range provide OS updates that are guaranteed for at least two years.

It has Digital Wellbeing as well, which is a great feature for a budget-friendly phone. It also has an on-screen shortcut for Google Assistant.

camera test and reviews

The front camera of the nokia is a 5-megapixel sensor with fixed focus. It also has an aperture size of f/2.4. These are standard features for a midrange smartphone. It produces decent selfies, with little distortion and smooth skin.

We saw some grainy texture and noise in our low light tests. It was a disappointment, as we were expecting better results.

audio testing and reviews

The single loudspeaker on the 3.2 is a good size but doesn't have much bass. The sound is comparable to that of other budget phones in this price range. However, if you are an audiophile then you should invest in good earphones.

Screen and display

The Nokia 3.2's 6.26" HD+ display has a screen-to body ratio of 80% and a small waterdrop at the top. The resolution is 1520x720 in a 19:9 aspect ratio, which is on par with the latest competition.

Battery and battery life

The nokia 3.2 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processor with Adreno 504 GPU. There are two versions: 2GB ram + 16GB storage space and 3GB ram + 32GB. You can extend the RAM and memory to up 400GB by using an external microSD.

Performance and speed

The performance of the nokia 3.2 is not impressive, particularly when it comes multitasking or gaming. It struggles to load apps, and it stutters in animation. The overall feeling is sluggish even though it's designed to deliver an Android experience.

Compare design and screen

The waterdrop-shaped notch on the front gives it an extremely attractive look. This waterdrop notch is less obvious than the notch found on the nokia 3.
